How do you play?

The object of the game is to knock down all ten pins with one ball (a strike). Failing this, knock down the remainder with your second ball (a spare). The more you knock down, the higher your score.

Are you wheelchair friendly?

Yes. Morecambe Superbowl offers full disabled access which includes ramps to lanes (where required) target ramps and lane bumpers for use with or without wheelchairs, lightweight balls and disabled toilet facilities.

Do you need your own equipment?

No!  Everything is included with the price of your lane hire or game.  We provide the balls and the shoes free of charge.  However if you want to bring your own you can.

How many can bowl at once?

A lane can be set up for 6 people to bowl at any one time, and we have 20 lanes in all.  However if there are more than 120 in your group we can make special arrangements.

Do you have gutter barriers / lane bumpers?

Yes.  We have them available on every lane.

Am I too old / young to bowl?

Never!!  We have ramps for the balls if they are too heavy to lift, lane bumpers to help you aim and full disabled access and baby changing. We also have lightweight balls.  Bowlers range from  age  3 to 90!

Do you have a car park?

Yes! We have limited car parking next to the building.  However Morrisons Supermarket is adjacent, and free parking ( ticket required though) is available for up to 2 hours.  Coach parking can also be arranged in advance.

What’s the best score you can get?

300 and if you get it you should consider playing pro!!  However high scorer or not, its brilliant fun for all.

We are booking two lanes, will they be together?

Yes we do our best make sure bookings are kept together when booked at the same time.
